New Look

Creating and designing a website from scratch does take a certain finesse, but our SRP co-founder, Lanre Odunlami, has mastered the task nonetheless! With a new online look and feel, you will be seeing StreetRacer Productions like never seen before. To introduce our new platform, I'd like to start things off by presenting some of the talented SRP artists that we frequently work with. For more of the new SRP click here!

RealTrendz

We hope you have all stayed safe and warm during the vicious winter weather, and that you've had a happening weekend! StreetRacer Productions will be hosting yet another mixtape within the next couple of weeks, so to keep you in tuned with who the talented artists are...I present to you RealTrendz: P826T8d0

Could you tell me a little bit about your background as an artist?

"Am an artist from San Diego, Ca I consider myself a backpack rapper."

You go by RealTrendz? Is there a story behind your artist name?

"I called myself Real at first but then that dumb ass "I love new York" show came out and a nigga name was real so I went to Trendz because I feel that I don't set trends I'm a Trend setter. I had been know by Real for so long so I just added it on and come up with RealTrendz."

What is your earliest memory with music?

"My earliest memory with music was when I was 11. Me and my cousin was playing around with the computer and Magic music maker and we did our first song called Top Doggs and we called ourselves the Bonafide Hustlers so it stuck. My label is FCMG Flyy Council Music Group and my team I rep is Trouble gang."

Who has been influential in your career?

"People that influence my rap is Lil wayne, the old Drake , the old Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Rockie Fresh, Lil Wayne for his crazy bars. Drake because he is versatile, Wiz for his creativity and Rockie and Kendrick for their realness."

Could you describe this upcoming mixtape that you've been working on? What's the vision, ideas and sound of it?

"This mixtape is going to have you rocking your head back in fourth. It has this incredible feel that you just vibe to and that's just the beats, my flow is real nice on it and I speak the truth of everyday life."

Diamond High Neff Supply-20130131-204200

What's in store for the future?

"For the future, I'm going to do vol.2. I feel that fans are going to enjoy the tape so much and the cover is sick so its really an inspiration because I love music. With my label mate we should be dropping our sequel to our mixtape called Trendy Pilotz."

Why have you chosen to work with StreetRacer Productions?

"I chose StreetRacers Productions because yall look like yall kno what yall doing and yall look like a growing empire and its something I want to be apart of. I love music and I love rapping and StreetRacers can make the difference. Its about respect and loyalty and I know yall have it and with this opportunity I want to do more work in the future."

What do you think separates you from all the other hip hop artists out there today?

"What separates me from the other artist out is that I am a real guy. Money couldn't change me from the clothes I wear to the music I make and to the lyrics I write. I can make a difference with my music. Im no tupac but I could stand for something as big as him. Most artist do rap for money that's why we have artist like chief keef and the list of people like that but I do it for the love of rap."

Two Shades of Logic

It is with the utmost pride and excitement that I introduce to you a new artist that Streetracer Productions will be working closely with in the near future, Ace Tech. Currently, our team is hosting his latest mixtape, "Two Shades of Logic", which will be released on datpiff.com February 5th. Although, I don't want to keep you from hearing this enormous talent...so, in the meantime, why don't you check out his previous mixtape from 2012, "Dark Matter". To find out more about Ace Tech, keep reading below... SHADES FRONT COVER

Could you tell us a little bit about your vision behind this upcoming mixtape?

“ My vision is really to just inspire, motivate and just encourage people to dig into their minds. I want people to think more logically because if a little logic were applied to everything we do, the world would probably be a lot less chaotic. “

How would you describe the sound of your mixtape?

“ The sound on my mixtape is very diverse, I mean there’s hard songs, laid back songs, then you have songs where pop hits are sampled, so I think it touches into a little bit of everyone’s flavor. “

Where do you get most of your inspiration from?

“ My inspiration comes from different things. I might hear a song on the radio or sometimes I might be going through some stuff so I just capture all that bullsh*t around me and just decide to put those stories in my songs. “

What is your earliest music memory?

“ My earliest music memory is probably when I was 5; I would take out all my moms’ pots and pans and just go ham on them. I’d swear I was a little drummer making loud noises all over the place. “

Is there a story behind your nickname? Why Ace Tech?

“ Uhm, well Ace is kind of this word we come to know as mastering something or like the big Ace, Ace of spades and what not. Also I’m pretty good with technology, so I just shortened that and put it all together. Ace Tech haha “

What has been your greatest accomplishment during your music career?

“ My greatest accomplishment is yet to come. I’m pretty new to the hip-hop scene so we’ll see in a few years. “

What are your future goals?

“ I have a lot of goals like winning a Grammy, dropping a platinum album, and just branching out beyond music. I want to own clothing lines, record labels, tech companies, you name it, but my biggest goal is to help our generation and generation’s to come by investing in them. I just believe that if I’m rich, why waste money on so many things you don’t need when you can try to better the world? "
