One Dream

It seems we always claim we have a long way to go, and yet we also say we've come such a long way. We wonder what this man would have said at the age of 86 this year if he hadn’t been assassinated in Memphis in 1968, Martin Luther King, Jr. People all over the world come together on this day to commemorate a man of so many wise words, a man full of inspiration, a man who spoke up about the truth and belief that many of us share to this very day...and perhaps gave us all a dream with his infamous words.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

How has racial bias impacted Your life? We open up the floor for sharing.

Daughter's Passionate Power

StreetRacer Productions has recently released a sneak peek of their latest track in this hot and, nothing short of dramatic, promo video. I love everything about it, from the eerie and bright light shining in through the dark doors, to the way the girl steps into the brightness with the drop of the beat. What do you think about it?

The sample of the beat is taken from Daughter's emotional track "Still". Much of the band's music appears to be unheard of in the hip hop world, which is exactly why SRP finds this track so intriguing and unique. We can all relate to love, loss and that indescribable feeling of intimacy. Daughter's music evokes each once with such flawlessness and grace.

She's Back

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcN6Ke2V-rQ

She might be the first female artist to come out with the idea of a visual album. But the more you think about it, the more it seems to make sense. Don't we all associate the music that we hear with a memory, a feeling or a fantasy? StreetRacer Productions can't get enough of her fierce moves, creative visuals and sexy sound. And to think that this is only part one! This week we'll be getting down to some of our favorites; "Mine" ft. Drake, "Flawless" and "Ghost". Check out the previews for this fantastic and visually stimulating body of work on Beyoncé's very own website. What are you listening to today?
