Climbing to the top

0da682547a0e3a5c6741b0bb75b18e29 While trying to stay out of the winter cold, we had the great fortune of meeting Yulia, founder of ArtCase Production, to learn a little more about their exclusive hand painted prints, the persona behind ArtCase, and what the future might look like.

With a love for freedom, adventures and, believe it or not: mountains, Yulia started up ArtCase years ago, without any scholarly or professionally trained background. The mission has always been to get as close as possible to the customers' dream t-shirt or sweatshirt. ArtCase represents all that is unique, free and original, and Yulia proudly speaks of the limitless:

Imagination and creativity are endless, so I will say that our goal is to go into your head, understand what you want and make it look greater than you can imagine.

A lot of the inspiration comes from the hip-hop culture, graffiti and street art, but Yulia also finds here artistic vision being influenced by nature. She explains that sometimes all you need is a breath of nature, to escape the city, and the inspiration comes flowing by itself. Although, for Yulia, there is no greater source of motivation than people, people falling in love with the art that she creates, happy people.

My favourite part is when you are concentrated on the idea, brush, paints and material at the same time, seems like nothing exist, just this moment and you are so much into it. And I love to find a color solution for the work, gradients, shadows etc. And the best feeling is when customers are happy with their clothes of course.

We have all been very curious to hear in what direction ArtCase will go next. Although they already are shipping their production worldwide, and currently working mostly online and through their social networks, they are looking to move in the direction of selling in stores in Paris as well, to find new and exciting customers.

Here is a sneak peek of some of ArtCase's pieces from their latest winter collection. Which one is your favourite?
